Michigan International Speedway - Merchandise Concessions Volunteer Opportunities

Thanks to all of our volunteers in 2015 and 2016. Together we raised more than $16,000 for NW teams and groups!

NWAB has been granted highly coveted retail trailers at MIS selling merchandise and/or programs race weekend, June 16-18 2017. NWAB earns 8% of net sales (6% on programs) and must begin opening inventory the weekend before the race. We will be in a full size semi-trailer. NWAB is paying 75% of the net profit to volunteers. We are currently staffing for the June 2017 Race.

INVENTORY/STOCKING – Sunday, June 18, 10am – 6pm (4 workers)

Count all product to confirm opening inventory numbers. After opening inventory, set up displays according to specifications, stock and price all merchandise.

SALES – Friday, June 16 – Sunday, June 1 (5-7 workers)

Sell merchandise to race fans. Should be finished by 8pm

CLOSING INVENTORY –

All remaining product will be inventoried and boxed.

WHAT TO WEAR - Workers must wear black shorts (no more than 3 inches above the knee), capri's or pants, black socks, and closed-toe black shoes. Shirts will be provided by NWAB to workers on the day they work and are required to be worn Friday - Sunday.

*NOTE* - Monday, June 19 - Only if there is a rain-out on Sunday, June 18 and the race is postponed to Monday; we will be expected to work. We would need 6 workers. If this happens, closing inventory would be completed directly afterwards.
